After 16 years of experience in the tire industry, Johnny dreamed of owning his own business! He started Johnny R Nelson Tire, Inc. on April 24, 2004. Later we expanded and added farm, agriculture, OTR, and passenger tires. As the business grew our son, Jason Nelson was hired. When we first started out, it was a passion for a better tire buying experience, that drove us to develop the model of Johnny R Nelson Tires, Inc. and gave us the conviction to turn hard work and inspiration into to a growing tire service provider. Today we serve customers all over Southwest Florida and are thrilled to be a part of your family's trusted brands for all their tire needs.

All About Johnny

Johnny was born in Union City and moved to Bradenton, Florida when he was 5 years old.

He worked at several places until he found Callaghan Tire. He worked for Callaghan Tire in Bradenton for 16 years. Thankfully, Callaghan gave him a chance to learn the tire business and he became their Service Manager. The great family and friends he made at Callaghan Tire are the reason Johnny is successful today! We married in 1991. We are the proud parents of four children, two boys and two girls. We work side by side everyday along with our oldest son Jason. We are locally owned and family opperated. One thing you should know about Johnny - He is a man of His word!
